The Kotinos project at the 11th Congress on the Development of Greek Agriculture

The participation of the Kotinos project in the 11th Congress on the Development of Greek Agriculture, organized by GAIA EPICHEIREIN on 22–23 May 2025 in Thessaloniki, was an excellent opportunity to showcase the project to a wide audience active in the agri-food sector.

With the central theme “The power of cooperation – a catalyst to attain CAP sustainability objectives”, the congress attracted over 2,500 participants, both in person and online. Attendees had the opportunity to follow presentations from approximately 40 distinguished speakers from Greece and the European Union, who highlighted key issues, trends, challenges, and prospects in the modern agricultural sector. Special emphasis was placed on the need to bridge technology with traditional structures in agriculture, as a critical condition for the development and adoption of innovative solutions.

On the sidelines of the congress, representatives of the coordinating partner NEUROPUBLIC provided information to attendees about the Kotinos Operational Group and the smart farming solutions developed through the collaborative project, with a focus on enhancing the sustainability of olive cultivation. Relevant promotional material, such as the project leaflet and banner, was available at a specially designated area within the congress venue.
